Strong Thunderstorm Hits Sedona

A strong thunderstorm hit central Sedona today around 3PM.

Roads flooded up to 5 ft deep.  Sedona fire Battalion Chief Dan Wills said 70 to 80 cars were carried down the flooded wash.  Many of the cars were carried down a wash behind shopping development, Tlaquepaque.

The Sedona Village of Oak Creek ( Big Park area) was not part of the flooded area.
